Jo joined Perspective in January 2026 following the acquisition of Cockburn Lucas IFC Ltd, bringing decades of experience and a client-focused approach to financial planning. Her career began in banking in 1988, and by 1992 she had become a tied advisor. Since 2011, Jo has worked as an Independent Financial Advisor, offering impartial and tailored advice to her clients.
Already a Chartered Financial Planner, Jo is committed to continuous professional development and aims to achieve Fellowship of the Personal Finance Society. Her role involves holistic financial planning, advising high-net-worth individuals and business owners on strategies to secure their financial future and that of their families. Jo prides herself on delivering a friendly, jargon-free service, ensuring clients feel confident and informed about their plans.
What Jo enjoys most is meeting regularly with clients to ensure their plans remain fit for purpose in an ever-changing financial landscape. She values helping clients achieve their life goals and providing peace of mind through ongoing, trusted advice.
Outside of work, Jo enjoys running, spin classes, and body pump, as well as walking her cockapoo, Poppy. She also loves dining out and traveling with family and friends.
