Samuel Colby Butcher

Sam joined Perspective as part of the Fortitude acquisition. Sam has been an advisor for over ten years and he has always used the financial planning process to deliver real value to clients.

Sam’s role is to discover what is important to people and then make sure their financial arrangements are tailored to this. He is most interested in people more than anything else and he enjoys when someone opens up and tells him what is really important to them, this is when he feels he has the chance of delivering something of real value. Although everyone is different generally the financial planning process is the same. He builds financial models for clients so they have a framework for making big decisions.

Outside of work he plays the guitar and sings. He has been known to perform in the local village panto. He thinks that being able to laugh at himself helps in this job!
