Outside of work, I love spending time with my family. I’m married to a farmer, so I’m often roped into helping out at the weekends — which has given me a real appreciation for rural life. I’m also an animal lover and enjoy cooking. Every so often, I manage to get out on the road bike with my local cycling club.
An interesting fact about me is that, although I work full time as a financial planner helping clients navigate their finances, my weekends look very different. I often help out on my husband’s farm, whether I planned to or not. It’s a completely different pace of life, but that contrast is exactly what keeps things interesting.
One thing on my bucket list is to visit Nashville and Yellowstone. I love country music, and I’ve always wanted to experience the classic Western landscapes I’ve only ever seen in films and music. I’d also like to take on an out‑of‑the‑ordinary challenge someday — such as completing a long‑distance cycling event for charity.
