Away from work I like to spend time outdoors; I’m a runner, cyclist, hiker, and paddleboarder, whatever the weather! I am a family man, I love spending time with my partner, my three children and step-son. I like to relax on the River Nene in our vintage boat “Cassie” or I can be found at home enjoying cooking, playing the piano and writing songs, or going out to gigs.
I once saved a dog that had been seriously injured and lost on Scafell Pike (the tallest mountain in England) for over 24 hours. I built a shelter, wrapped it in some spare clothes and fed it my marmalade sandwiches, keeping it alive until Mountain Rescue could send up a recovery team.
Cycling and camping across the Lofoten islands in Norway with my partner Emily.
